Leather Belt

Lose your fear of working with leather and learn the basics of leather sewing, creating a belt for yourself or as a gift. Kit fee is additional cost.

Threads, Needles & Stabilizers, Oh My

Join Kristi in learning which needle, thread and stabilizer to use with what project. Take the fear out of embroidery and sewing decorative stitches with this workshop class.

Serger Basics:

This class takes the fear out of using a serger. Learn how the serger works and learn to serge on knits and fleece and more. Become comfortable with changing tensions. Theory and maintenance tips are also included.

2 Classes: 2 Sessions:$35

Computer Basics

Join Kristi in learning the ins & outs of you computer. Learn to make and find folders and files. Use your e mail and anti virus programs.

Fancy Folds Sweatshirt Jacket

Clever folding technique by Linda Bealmer of Sew Mini Pieces creates wearable art from a sweatshirt. Order the pattern ($10) when you sign up for the class. We'll also give you sources for hand dyed fabrics. The bookmark makes a perfect practice project for learning the techniques involved.

Internet Savvy

Join Kristi & Sharon in navigating the internet. Learn to download designs and have them download to a file or folder that you can find. Learn to use search engines and download updates for computer programs and also for your sewing/embroidery machines. Both stores now have wireless capabilities, so bring your laptop. If you dont have a laptop, make arrangements to use one of our computers for the class. Limited space available.

Machine Applique

Would love to add some extra spice to your quilts or Home Dec items, but have had a difficult time adding applique? Let Edith show you the most popular methods for doing Machine Applique.

Crazy Patch Stocking

Join Edith in creating this last minute heirloom stocking for your home or as a gift. Learn the basics of Crazy Patch work, while adding bits of lace or ribbon along with some of your fancy stitches from your sewing machine to create this one of a kind stocking.
